Dear members,

Registration for current members wanting to play soccer at Hampton Junior Soccer Club in 2016 are now open 


Returning players must register by Friday February 5th if you want to be placed in the same team as 2015. After this, we will accept registrations for new players and your place cannot be guaranteed. If you were in our Goalkick or Mini Matildas programs, you are considered an existing player so please register now.


New players will be accepted on a first come first served basis into available spots in our teams from February 6th.


Fees

As mentioned before Christmas, due to the significant growth of the club, we now need to register and charge GST. Unfortunately, we are unable to absorb this cost and, as a result there will be an increase in fees, in line with the GST amount for this year. Fees for 2016 will be:

Under 7 - $220.00
Under 8 to 9 - $275.00
Under 10 to 11 - $319.00
Under 12 to 20 - $434.50
Goalkick - $130.00
Mini Matildas - $60.00 ($40 for players already registered to play in a team for 2016)

Family discount - $30 for the 2nd and subsequent children.


We are continuing to offer discounted fees for our most dedicated volunteers – our coaches and committee. The discount will depend on the role that you undertake:


Team coach or committee member - rebate of full fees (less FFV registration cost- $60 for U11 and below; $90 for U12 and above).
Team manager or other volunteer role – equivalent to second child discount (rebate on 2016 fees).  The rebate will apply to your first child.

All rebates and discounts can be found on the payment page when registering.  Click on the purchase additional items button in Step 1  - Additional Items.  Then click the rebate which applies to you (i.e. 2nd child rebate, coach rebate, team manager rebate, etc).  Any girls wishing to sign up for Mini Matildas in term 3 can do so on this page.  These items will be added or deducted from you final payment due.  You can also register your interest in participating with our skills training run by Football Star Academy (see information below).


Skills with Football Star Academy

We are delighted to confirm that Football Star Academy will continue to provide coaching for our Skills program for those that want some extra training. These will be offered on a Sunday morning or Monday evening.

Sunday morning (Hampton Primary School):

9-10am - Under 6 & 7s

10-11am - Under 8 & 9s

11-12pm- Under 10 & 11s


Monday evenings (Simpson Reserve):

6-7pm - Under 11 & 12s

7-8pm - Under 13s and above


Registration

Please register online with MyFootballClub, and please make sure to register for the correct age group - the age cut-off is your child’s age on 1 January. If you have previously played with Hampton and you are unsure of which email address has been used for your registration, contact info@hamptonsoccer.com.au.

Your registration will be finalised once the following is completed: For existing players: one passport size photo (less than 3 months old) uploaded in MyFootballClub and fees paid.  For new players: one passport size photo (less than 3 months old) uploaded in MyFootballClub, fees paid and we have received a copy of your identification, e.g. passport or birth certificate

If you are a coach, committee member or other volunteer, please select 'Manual Payment at Club' when at the payment section and send an email to info@hamptonsoccer.com.au. This will allow us to arrange your volunteer discount. 


Information day

For new players that have already registered, or are thinking of registering, come down to our Information Day on Sunday February 14th to ask all your questions. The Info Day runs from 10am to 1pm at Simpson Reserve, Fewster Rd, Hampton. Come down and ask all your questions, drop off your identification, have your ID photo taken or buy playing socks, shorts or a HJSC hoody.   

 

Alternatively, identifications can be emailed to info@hamptonsoccer.com.au or posted to Hampton JSC, PO Box 1154, Hampton North 3188 (please remember to write the player’s name and date of birth on the back).


What happens next?

After you have registered, the relevant age group coordinators will put together the teams, taking into account as many preferences as we can. We will email you to confirm which team you have been entered in towards the end of February.


HJSC will again run trials for certain age groups for players wanting to play at HJSC that are interested in playing in the Kangaroo or A team for their age group. The trials are entirely optional and players may choose not to trial if they would prefer to play in a team with friends who have also elected not to trial.


Trials will be running for the Under 11, 12 and 13 boys/mixed teams, and Under 14 and 16 boys’ teams. Trials for Under 16 boys will only be required if a sufficient number of players register. Trials will run on Sunday 7 and 14 February. Players that are successful in these first round of trials will be invited to attend a final trial on Sunday 21 February.


Players in the relevant age groups will be emailed the specific details.
